I'm 51, 3 adult children and a grandma. I've been divorced 6 yrs after a 16 yr marriage and life has hit me in the face. But my faith has kept me going even if I'm crawling on all fours I keep moving forward. I am trying baby steps in the weight loss area. First I'm trying to cut down on the amount of Coke I have before 8:30 am and second I try not to sit down with the whole 1/2 gal of ice cream for dessert. I am proud of myself tho, I shaved my legs for the first time in several months, yes I am still trying to look pretty. I have been following your blogs and pray for you and look forward to reading your book. Keep moving forward cause sitting still puts weight on you too :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885384159016667608.post-6369587192154768612012-03-09T20:58:00.392-06:002012-03-09T20:58:00.392-06:00I highly recommend a calorie counting/log app for ...I highly recommend a calorie counting/log app for your smartphone that helps you not only track your eating & exercise, but also helps you set realistic goals! I have a goal to lose 30 lbs this year! With a focus on exercising now and the use of loseit.com (My Fitness Pal is also good), I'm down 10 pounds so far this year!!

Anyway, even though I am reporting my intake to the "big computer in the sky", I have this strange feeling that I don't want the employees at loseit.com laughing at me during their water cooler breaks :-) Ha!!

I've never been a calorie counter but it's crazy when you actually start watching calories!! There really is something to more output (ie exercise) & less input (food)Jennifer Bhttp://bloodworthbunch.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885384159016667608.post-21553890607249009242012-03-09T20:49:06.224-06:002012-03-09T20:49:06.224-06:00Oh, Krista, you crack me up! NNNOOOOO! Please, no! Finally this morning I registered one pound down, and that's the thing that most motivates me--seeing some results. Hang in there, friend! I can imagine how hard it must be with all you have going to--but hey, you do have a WONDERFUL goal to strive for... :), and don't forget it.Estherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07031244747649648384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885384159016667608.post-65132444430250495522012-03-09T12:03:48.715-06:002012-03-09T12:03:48.715-06:00Single mommy life has done me in. My goals are pathetically small....just don't eat so much next week. My sister says she always has her clients make small, DOABLE goals so that they stay motivated. In fact, she usually suggests to her clients that their first week's goal should be simply to eat one fruit or vegetable with every meal and snack. Anyway, I'm a total stress eater, too, so I get that and I'll be praying that you'll be able to fit in a smaller dress by Easter.Erin MacPhersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11665098986271579372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885384159016667608.post-18981907022453594622012-03-09T05:50:13.807-06:002012-03-09T05:50:13.807-06:00Awesome goals, Krista!
