Annabelle update- ugh

So, I've waited 2 days to post that last post today... she was doing SO SO SO good and I was SO excited to be able to tell you about her breathing tube, but UGH. As soon as I posted it though, things went downhill.

Her breathing tube is back in because all her numbers were bad and one of her lungs was collapsing.

We went to dinner while they put the tube back in, and we get back and they've had to restart a few of her medicines, which is a VERY frustrating set back, and they think she may have an infection so are running a bunch of tests.

I just want to scream I am so frustrated, but I know God is still GOD and nothing takes HIM by surprise, and I, again, am giving my Annabelle to Him and trusting her to His wonderful care.

If there is one very small silver lining... the IV in her head got infiltrated so they took it out and put one in her foot. A stupid little cosmetic thing, but I need a bright side really bad, so there it is.

I know you all are, but I just continue to ask for prayer for my little one, especially in light of this recent setback. *sigh*

Oh, that's discouraging for you! But with these little ones, they can rebound so quickly. It's such a blessing that you're in such a good medical facility, and that they are taking such good care of you all.

And it's okay to celelbrate getting the IV out of her head. That would be so disconcerting.

I've been away from the blogs for awhile. Just popped in and saw your title. I was feeling sorry for myself about something I'm facing right now... until I read this post. My problem is small. I will be praying for you and Annabelle. God is merciful and great.

Praying for you, sweetie. Hang in there. I know how tough it is...my youngest who is now 17 was a preemie with lots of issues and he is a happy, healthy teenager, today.
BIG HUGS and lots of PRAYERS,

Thank you for the update, Krista. It's so good to know what we can specifically be praying for. Praying for you and sending big virtual hugs your way.

Thanks everyone for praying! Her BP went down even lower after I posted this. They gave her a ton of medicine, some more blood, and her blood pressure went back up. They don't know why it went down like that though, ugh.

Thanks, again, for your continued prayers! We felt every one of them, and I firmly believe she turned back around so fast due to our heavenly Father and all your prayers!

Krista,
Things are up and down, I know, but in general, they seem to be on the upswing. She's such a beautiful little girl and she LOOKS strong...if it's possible for a newborn to look strong.

I would encourage you to feel what you feel without feeling guilty in any way about it. God knows how you're struggling with this. Thank you so much for allowing us to keep praying for Annabelle and for you all. Just keep going, one hour at a time. Little ones do indeed rebound so quickly. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

Krista,
we're starting a Blog-a-Thon of prayer for Annabelle (you can check my blog out if you want) but just know people are praying and supporting you!!

Lord,
I lift up Krista and her family and most of all the precious little like You have created in Annabelle. I pray you will hold her in the palms of Your hands and do Heavenly things to her little heart both physically and Spiritually. I pray you will give Krista a special measure of peace today - help her, dear Lord, as she spends time with her little one. May they share sweet moments...
In Jesus name, Amen

Praying for you and Annabelle, Krista!

Lord God,
We know you created Annabelle for a special purpose. We know you love her and care for her more than we could ever understand. We know you are good and work all things out for your glory. I pray Father God, that you would heal Annabelle's heart. Do a miraculous work inside her precious chest and heal her for your glory, for your praise. So that Annabelle can go home with Krista and her Daddy. Give the doctors much wisdom and sure hands. Wrap Krista in a peace that surpasses understanding. Hem this family in your loving grace. Make baby Annabelle better, Lord.

In the matchless and powerful name of Jesus Christ,
Amen

To Krista and Annabelle:
May the Lord bless you, and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine on upon you. May the Lord be gracious to you; lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Father, I lift little Annabelle up to you today, as the ultimate healer. I pray that you bring about healing by any means, whether through the wisdom of her doctors, potency of medicine, or through your miraculous power alone. God as she recovers please spare her from any pain and suffering she might experience, and comfort her sweet spirit with your very presence. I pray that she will be able to sense your closeness as you hold her, speak to her, soothe her, and love her. I pray this in the awesome power of the name of Jesus. To Him be all the glory.
