Wow, it looks like I'm not the only one with crazy number of hats!
Now, I hate to break it to you, but my blog posts aren't going to have some magic cure for the "hat-o-mania" syndrome we all struggle with, but I will detail a few things I do to help with the madness.
Unfortunately, I had a not so very good hat placed on my head today, and it was that of mourner. My grandma passed away this evening. She'd been struggling with cancer for a while, so while I am so sad and my heart is breaking, I'm rejoicing for HER because she's no longer in pain. It was so sweet to be able to be with her and my family when she passed. I've never been with anyone before when they died, and it was just, surreal. I don't know how to describe it, but we all just felt the sweet, sweet spirit of Jesus in the room, especially after she drew her last breathe.
If you could, keep my family in your prayers over the next few days, especially my grandpa, who is so so so sweet and is doing so well, but I know he is missing her lots.
I'll be taking a brief break from posting for a few days while I spend time with my family, but later next week we'll start in on our hat management ideas.
