Woe is me.

This stinks.

Poor me.

Hello, this is ________ reporting on this bleak day when the world's markets are going crazy and we might be spiraling into a depression. The world banks cut interest rates but it barely helped. Everyone's living in fear and uncertainly...

Oh, woe is us!

Is anyone else really really truly tired of this?

I think we need to have a National SMILE Day. Heck, even a smile HOUR or smile MINUTE would be nice right now. Where everyone stops and just smiles. They don't say anything negative or depressing.

And good grief, while we're at it, after you smile, turn to the person next to you and give them, *gasp* a COMPLEMENT.

I don't care if it's your friend, your mother, your enemy or your brother. Heck, I don't care if its Osama Bin Laden. (although... I do gotta say I'm not sure why you'd be standing next to him, if you are, I truly feel sorry for you! But you could at least like "nice beard, dude" before you called DOHS...)

Come on, people! I know money is tight, I know the news people are scaring the bajeebers out of us, but I vote that we rise above and smile through the storm.

God never promised a perfect life. He never promised there would be no trials. In fact, he made it clear that tough times WOULD come.

But we gotta take it for the growing opportunity it is, learn from it, and come out smiling.

So, come on y'all, I wanna see your cheesy grins!!!!

Great post, Krista! It's soooo true.

People must have started smiling, right? Market shot up worked.

No, seriously, it's true. Life's too short to scowl. :-)

LOL! SO true!

But, I do have to say, I exempt mornings though. I tell a girl at work who is WAY too perky in the morning that she needs to turn her smile upside down. Being that happy at 7:30 in the morning should be criminal!

But by 10, and after I've had my morning coke, then we can smile away!
