There's a storm abrewin...

Dad gum stupid tornadoes!

Well, hopefully we won't have any, but I am a bit concerned.

You see, about 2 years ago, we had a horrible hail storm. I was at home, by myself... almost! I was by myself, 7 months pregnant, with FIVE kids. Count them... FIVE! My two older daughters, Karalynn and Lacy, as well as my niece and 2 nephews whom I was babysitting at the time. Out of no where the strorm blew in. I seriously thought the roof was going to cave in, the hail was so loud! So, there I was, by myself, with five screaming children yelling, thinking that the world was coming to an end and they were going to die.

Well, I hurdled them into the hall bathroom where we all sat on the floor will pillows I had thrown in off the beds. They were all crying, and being the hormonal pregnant woman I was, I was about to cry too. I came up with the brilliant idea that we would sing songs. I told them Jesus would protect us (but all the while was thinking that it very well might be out time to meet in heaven...). We were sitting on the floor, singing Jesus loves me or some other song, when my sister starts banging on the door. Needless to say, the screaming started again.

The storm was over, and other than massive hail damage to the house as well as our car, we were no worse for wear.

However, then comes tonight. I again, am watching my sisters kids, and instead of being pregnant, have six kids here instead of five. My husband, yet again, is working. And, yet again, there are calls for hail, strong winds, and possibly tornadoes.

It is going to be a great night.

If you read this, prayers are appreciated! I have no fear about the storm, but need prayer more just to keep my sanity in the madness, especially if God forbid the lights go out on me and these six young children!

Thank you in advance.

GOD BLESS!!! (and keep the tornadoes away!!)
